Airport Virtual Academy (AVA) has successfully guided many students through high school completion with the assistance of its staff members. AVA offers comprehensive academic services for students who qualify for individualized instruction due to learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional impairments, behavioral disorders, processing disorders, and many others. 

Academic Goals: 
  • To provide appropriate academic support and structure for each student.
  • To stimulate and facilitate increased learning and progress.

Academic Enrollment: 
  • Facilitation of students needs based upon a student's current Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 Plan, or psychological evaluation recommendations.
  • Intervention with Special Education Coordinator, Academic Counselor, and teachers to design their academic curriculum. 
  • Development of a Student Academic Plan that meets the needs of graduation.
  • Exploration of potential career, higher education, and employment options beyond high school.

  • Fully licensed teachers
  • Personalized, daily one-to-one instruction, monitoring of coursework

AVA demonstrates the unique capability of being flexible for each students specific learning challenges while maintaining the atmosphere of the classroom and fostering the high school experience. Students have the opportunity to pursue their educational goals in a comfortable, safe setting which empowers each student to fully develop and strengthen their own individuality and skills.
